The plot is okay, the characters are stereotypes, everyone gets what they want in an implausible ending. Don't bother

I've read 70 pages of this book and I'm baffled. How did this trite story of 3 female 30 somethings ever get into NYTimes book list. Must be the author is a blood relation to the book critic. Perhaps it will improve with every page turn. What is for certain is I'll never consider NYTime book list a reliable source again.

This is the first book that I have read by Nancy Thayer but it will not be the last! I live in south Florida near the water and enjoyed reading about the life on the island. This book hooked me from the first chapter. In many books you can figure out the ending but this one I didn't, this is a must read for all I hope you enjoy this book as much as I.
