Must read

It is hard too believe that a book so relevant to our current culture was written so long ago. Education is the key to enlightenment, "mis-education" results in social stagnation and in some cases regression.
This book is very necessary!!!!!

Carter G. Woodson was ahead of his time. This book is as important today as it was the day it was printed. I don't care about race, Racism is woven in the fabric of America. We need to focus on the mis education of the African Americans in the USA. Integration was the worst thing that could've happened next to slavery itself to the blacks in America.
Knowledge is power

Every person of color should read this book. Truly enlightening and relevant even in 2013.
A must read for every African American

A shame this book is so relevant it could have been written yesterday! If you are just reading it you're super late! But it is a must read for every person of African descent.
Sadly More Relevant Today...

It is a shame that a book such as this could even have a chance of being relevant today. Racism is still very alive but thank god, breathing it's last breath. This old dimensional paradigm is over. Change , grow and stay alive, or stay the same, stagnate and die - literally. People we must raise or vibrational level and ascend to new levels of manhood and womanhood. Let us read this, expose this to our children, and UPLiFT ourselves into a new higher consciousness, and resulting ACTUALITY. SELF-EDUCATE in the rigors of TRUTH!
