Description

A Fitness Spa Like You've Never Experienced Before

Professor Abby Stafford was burned out. She was overweight, middle-aged, and tired. She'd even thought about suicide, but there were her dogs. Who would care for them? So she kept trudging on.

A summer as a test subject for a supplement that was designed to help her feel better and look younger, sounded just like what the doctor ordered. What did she have to lose?

But Wolf Harbor Resort may have left out a few of the side effects....

First in a new paranormal romance series, Wolf Harbor — a feminist werewolf story.

Very clever, fast paced and entertaining. Great start to what should be a successful series. Love that the female lead is older, intelligent and accomplished.

This book kept my interests with all the twisted and turns. Really a good read

  • A fascinating take on the shifter genre

In a genre so often saturated by misogyny, I found this book to be a breath of fresh air in the world of shifter/werewolf/paranormal novels. Instead of merely swapping genders and telling the same story we’ve heard over and over again, this book explores the nuances of feminine-presenting leadership, communication, and community. Abby Stafford is an instantly lovable protagonist. She is wise, she is mature, and although she has spent her career facing uphill battles in a male dominated world, she knows her worth. I look forward to seeing where this series goes!

Finally, a smart, strong, decisive, professional, alpha female lead who is older than 45 years. And still living on her terms. Thank you.

I absolutely Love this story. It’s new and exciting, a twist on shifters. I’ve read a lot of shifter books and this one really grabbed my attention. Excellent storytelling!

What a unique outline of the shifter world and I can’t wait to read the next one. I do not really care for the feminist wording on the front, I think of it more as a matriarchal leadership style.

I think this was the best book I have read in a long time, and the best shifter ever. So nice to have an intelligent woman who knew what she could do
