Too short for a prequel but I want to read alpha now to see what happened between Adam and Emmy

It borders on grooming and pedophilia. In this day and age, why??

This is the prequel to Alpha, a Navy Seals series. This book lays the ground work for book 1 and the foundation for the romance between Adam and Emmy. The 11-year age gap while unexpected is not implausible. The writing is quick and fluid, the military references are well placed; although the use of the terms “I got your six; or FUBAR” seemed a little overdone or cliched at times. All of that said, I did find myself submerged in the story and becoming drawn into the primary character development and introductions of the supporting characters. By the time I reached the end, I was panting for the climax, Billy was dead and now Emmy is alone. I think I am well and truly ensnared. We’ll see with the next Adam’s story. Sybil-I am truly sorry for your loss.

Shattering and full of emotions

Intro to new series. Introducing characters. Really quick read, only 160 + pages.

Well Written. Not a fan of it being a cliff hanger book for the series. Smart though. This book just didn’t fit my fancy, but that’s just me!

A great read. Real good men and the family they love. Real tear-jerker on a few pages. Cannot wait to read more

This is a short prequel to the upcoming Alpha. It was a great introduction and I can’t wait for the first book in this new series.

I can’t wait to read Alpha in five days. Every word, every sentence made me feel grief and heartbreak and love. If I were reading pages instead of a screen, they’d have tear stains on them. Beautifully written. My most heartbroken condolences to the author. No one should outlive their child 🖤
