Ever since I was introduced to these characters in the previous books in the series, I’ve been waiting to read their story and hopefully experience their HEA. There’s nothing I like more than a tortured, brooding, soulful man, and that’s exactly what Sebastian was. Finally getting the full story behind Zoey’s rejection from so long ago, and realizing how much both characters changed because of it was heartbreaking, but it was also necessary. And on top of falling in love with Sebastian and Zoey, you get to fall in love with her kids even more than when we were introduced to them in Gavin’s book. The only thing that held me back from giving this 5 stars were the grammatical errors, and the misuse of names. I knew what the author meant, I just wish she had some additional editing. For people like me, who cringe when we see something like that, it can distract from the writing. But aside from that, if you love the idea of finding your way back to “the one that got away,” I highly recommend reading! And the fact that their are hot “intimate” moments is simply a bonus ;).
