Dianna Love and dragons? Yes, please! The Belador World is one of my favorites and I was jumping with joy when I found out Love was going to be diving into dragons. It's a dream come true. And to have so many of them come out so soon...*swoon* This first book of the spin-off series in the Belador world perfectly recaps all that we have experienced so far. It's not all crammed out in some sort of summary in the first chapter. It's all strategically placed within a masterful story, which is just how I like it. So, if you haven't read any of the other Belador books, I think you would be fine starting here. Poor Daegan. I feel like I just need to say that. After reading more about him and his past in this book, I think he is going to be one of the most complex characters out there. I long for what's to come, but at the same time, I'm dreading it as well. His story is not going to take him down Easy Street. And Casidhe? She has my attention. I'm very intrigued to see where things go for her, to say the least. Love writes fierce female characters, and I'm going to go ahead and add Casidhe to my list of "Best Butt-Kicking Ladies." So to sum things up without giving anything away. Thrilling story...check! Characters I can't get enough of...check! Fascinating legends, lore, and history...check! Moments that have me burning through pages while I'm on the edge of my seat...check! The feeling that the next one can't come soon enough...check! If you are afraid of getting hooked on another magnificent series, stay away from this one, because it will sink it's dragon claws into you quickly, and not let go.

I love the Belador world and all the wonderfully written books by Dianna. The book is well written with a great back story to fill in the blanks. If you have not read the Belador series I recommend reading first. As a fan I wanted more when the book ended. Looking forward to see what transpires next. Will defiantly read the series!

Dianna has done it again! This book brings back old friends from the Belador series and introduces you to new ones. As always, Treoir Dragon Chronicles is full of unexpected twists and leaves you eagerly awaiting the next book. Dianna never disappoints!!
