I think I just found a new favorite author. After reading the first book of the series, Infidelity, I became hooked. I had to find out what would become of Nox and Alex. Aleatha Romig is a master story teller. The characters are well developed and credible and as the characters go through heartache and pain, you are right there with them. Just when you think Alton and Bryce will get away with all their evil deeds, a new twist changes the course of the story. The love story of Oren and Adelaide is cleverly intertwined into the story. The epilogue provides a very satisfying ending. Really enjoyed this series.

From book 1 of the series I was hooked. I couldn’t put it down. The twists and turns lead you down the rabbit hole and back out again. A firm grasp on southern culture and the “ good old boys” system made me feel right at home.

For 4 solid days, I could not put this series down. I couldn’t get enough! I wish they would make it into a movie.
