After they finally figured out their feelings, I loved Julie and Chase. The twists and turns in the storyline was wonderful and fun to try and figure out “who dunnit”. Loved the HEA!

Loved the story! I would have enjoyed Neves point of view included in the story. I often wondered what her thoughts were.

Just received this enthralling ebook through Amazon last night. I got so wrapped up in just going to read a few chapters, that the next thing that I knew it was 5:30 a.m. I picked it up again tonight at 9:15 and was finished by 10 p.m. I must say the the reading was easy, suspenseful, had a fast moving plot that had lots of turns and twist. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes mysteries. LaMar

First book I've read by Ms. Beaumont. Great plot, second chance romance with an original twist and enough detail and buildup to distinguish it from others of the genre. A little slow to start with the character buildup of the second chance aspect of the story and then the mystery just comes roaring in. I have to check out books one thru eight now!

This story kept me reading way into the night. Not a dull moment. Characters became so real I swear I have met them, Elaine especially. Cate Beauman is a very talented author.

I couldn't put it down! Intriguing characters, plot twists, and passionate romance, it has .all the ingredients needed for a "can't put it down/grab the fire extinguisher, it's getting hot/oh my gosh, it can't be" heck of a great mystery!

I absolutely loved the plot of this story! The characters were all so well written and it didn't feel like the romance was forced between them for the sake of just being there. I would've liked to seen a better siblings relationship develop between the Noah and Julie but it was realistic.

This book is the 9th of the bodyguard series and I have read all 9. Looking for to reading the next and many more, as I have loved each one. Please read this series but make sure to start with the first. I have been so enthralled with a story that I have stayed up very late to finish.
