So disappointed with this book, kinda lazy…the whole beginning of the book is her rant on the problems of being a romance writer, give me a break. The actual story was charming if rather convoluted. I had problems keeping track of who was who and what life we were visiting. And she used to be my favorite writer.

My all-time favorite book. I read it over and over when my heart is hurting, and it just soothes my soul. Every page just keeps me enthralled. This book is exceptional — well done, Jude!

I could almost feel the emotion of the characters. True love is always a wonderful story.

A tear jerker…. a soul grabber… A book that I will never want to put it down and had reread many times….

This is my absolute favorite book by Jude Devereaux! This story touched me so deeply and I love love how she worked the soulmate concept. Such a beautiful story with all the elements of excellent story telling. This story is a tearjerker. If you get involved in the characters of the books you read, you are almost guaranteed to cry. I cherish this book and read it every so many years when I want to revisit the characters and fall in love again with the magic that is presented in this story. I highly recommend!!!
