I had already watched the movie several times and loved it. I had really high expectations for this book since I loved the movie and I was not let down. I was crying a lot during different points of the book and I loved it.

This book truly consists of everything an amazing book needs. The connection to the characters, the multiple plot twists, the heart wrenching story lines, the romance, the beautifully written narration & dialogue all intertwine to make this book one you simply cannot put down. This is truly by far the best book I have ever experienced.

This books is one of the best of Nicolas S. The part of him reading the letter with his dad in the hospital and when he was all alone in the funeral broke me, and never cry! I don't get why the movie was soo different and it didn't have the feeling of the book! What a waste of good book! Read it is 100 times better than the movie!

The novels by Nicholas Sparks are by far some of my most favorite books. In Dear John I was always being grabbed in and was always wondering what would happen next. I loved the story line of it as well. Different than most romantic novels. Great book!
