George, Georgie to Quinn, can’t believe her eyes! The one man who broke her heart seven years ago is in the ER. Even worse, he can’t seem to remember who she is. It’s taken George YEARS to get over Quinn, only to realize maybe she’s not truly over him after all this time. She hates that she reacts to him and that he appears to be the man who disappeared seven years ago. But she’s hurt and can’t seem to forget the broken promises.

Mira Lyn Kelly writes an amazing second chance love story, with a twist. It’s love at first sight, until it isn’t. It’s forever, until it isn’t. Promises are broken without Quinn knowing it. I loved that both families were slightly dysfunctional. George's brothers are overprotective thugs, while Quinn’s brother is a liar with a gambling problem. I loved that Quinn went all out to prove to Georgie he was the man for her. Georgie’s lack of hockey knowledge was also refreshing-not a puck bunny! Forgiveness is key in this relationship. I highly recommend this novel! I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

Another great book from Mira Lyn Kelly. I’ve been a fan of her writing for years, and she never disappoints. This new book features another member of the Slayers hockey team, Quinn, who feels an instant connection to George. He doesn’t remember their first meeting, but she does, and she isn’t interested in getting reacquainted. Quinn, however, is determined, and what follows is loads of page-turning goodness. I absolutely loved Quinn and George together, and liked getting a glimpse of some of the other players, too. Mira Lyn Kelly has created a world I’d love to visit, and I can’t wait for more from the Slayers. I highly recommend this book!

Mira Lyn Kelly has done it again! Just when think I can’t love one of her heroes more, she brings us Quinn. This alpha hockey player has a squishy, emotional center that just calls to me. I want to hug him and take him home...and definitely treat him better than George was treating him. I seriously wanted to smack that girl! But the ongoing tension between them just made for a richer and more page-turning story than if we had her reasons all laid out right away. I did grow to love George, because I could see how conflicted she was to be around Quinn again. Plus, they really were meant to be together, even while dodging obstacles thrown at them from unsuspecting places. I’m sure Kelly’s next hero will tug at my heart strings just as hard, if not harder, so I’m going to enjoy the deliciousness that is Quinn (and George) until then!

George was burned by Quinn six years ago. She fell for his line and completely forgot about her.

Quinn sees George in the hospital and is smitten by her, he believes he’d never forget her eyes.
But he did.
He is a player on and off the ice with way too many puck bunnies (yuck, gross, who wants a guy who’s been in every chic?).

Can he clean up his act and man up and be a better man for George?

Recommend.
Hot hockey romance where everything is on fire ... on and off the ice!

Dirty Hookup by Mira Lyn Kelly ticks all the boxes for a great book: feel-good romance with just the right level of drama, well crafted storyline, part of a series that stands alone, but makes you feel like you're a part of the series, and realistic well developed characters.

Ms. Kelly has a great backstory that sets up the book nicely. 8 years ago Quinn and George met up ... only to have George put Quinn in the "player category" ... some thing that isn't too far from the truth. Fast forward to the time of the book when the two of them come into contact ... from their meeting, Quinn all in and totally infatuated with our George. She takes some convincing ... and through dialogue that is witty and swoon worthy, hockey scenes "at work" (because they both work for the Slayers, and a solid storyline that moves along by switching character points of view, you'll find yourself binge reading this book. Oh! did I mention that the love scenes nearly set my reader on fire??

Wow! Another fantastic Chicago Slayers Hockey book. Quinn and George were a great couple and I loved the frenemies to lovers feel to their relationship. When Quinn meets George at the hospital he feels like he has a case of deja vu but he brushes it off and he can’t figure out why George can’t seem to stand the sight of him. George is attracted to Quinn and is not happy with herself for this, Quinn has quite the reputation with the ladies and she doesn’t want to be just another puck bunny to him.
You could feel the attraction between these two from the get go even through George’s animosity/hurt towards Quinn. You really rooted for these two because they really were great together. As soon as Quinn talked to George he just knew there was something different about this girl and he would do whatever to keep her in his life.
I really enjoyed seeing more of Vaughn and Natalie, and more peeks at Rux, Cammy, and Margo. This was a fabulous book and I am soo looking forward to more in this series.
