This book had me on the edge of my seat. It is so beautifully written. Ms. Ryan helped us understand what our brave military men/women go through with PTSD. But with the help of a supporting family, therapists, Doctors and the love of a good women anything is possible. Adria needed Drake’s love and support as much as he needed her. Together a powerful love grew.

Trinity’s brother Drake is healing from war wounds on the ranch where Adria is staying. They both have relationship issues but call a truce for sex without strings. It changes both of them to hope for more. Adria starts a new business and Juliana (sister) helps out after rehab. Co-worker, Mike is obnoxious but Juliana isn’t interested and he does the unthinkable causing friction between everyone. Adria is devastated and goes to visit her absentee Mom. Trinity, her business partner shows her video from Mike’s actions and the suspense grows. They both get their HEA and more.

I always enjoy Jennifer Ryan stories. This was no exception. I’ve been waiting for this story since it was announced. Drake and Adria have much to overcome. Heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time, the road to their HEA is long and hard fought.
