Each book in the series is better than the previous. The author does a really good job at keeping it interesting.

Enjoyed the change to first person perspective, gave some fun perspective into Gentry’s thoughts.

The first half of the book is a pretty slow and uncharacteristic for the series in my opinion. The minor protagonist is kind of infuriating and helpless.

Overall enjoyable, especially the second half, but weaker than the previous books.

Amazing story….i am continually amazed by the author’s ability to give us a story that grabs ahold and keeps me turning the pages. His grasp of world geography and the details of aircraft and weapons blows my mind. I love the characters and the intensity placed in the plot. WOW!

But worn out can be a good thing—it’s what makes muscles grow…

What else can you say. So well crafted. No wasted words, thoughts or actions. Some of this one is in the first person, which is unusual for the series. But it works. And it allows a bigger window into the character
