Another good one about Gabriel Allon

    A little slow at times.
  • Fiction not politics

Mr. Silva, I have read all of your books with great pleasure. However, Your “opinions” and your information gathering with CNN et al left me with a rather nasty taste in my mouth. What I found objectionable was having politics rammed down my throat while trying to enjoy reading a “fictional” book. Sadly, my last Daniel Silva book.
  • Always a pleasure

Another enjoyable read set inside modern politics with Gabriel Allon and company.
  • Good read, fun fantasy without reality of mid-east

Sometimes you either need one more sentence, or leave off the last few paragraphs, that was this book. Also, as good as Mossad and Allon is portrayed, sometimes his stunts and lack of support is just stupid. Nonetheless a good read.
  • Bad ending 😡

Other than the last few pages, the book is a solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ but the ending was a downer. I love Daniel Silva’s books but, I’m sorry, the world is depressing enough without that ending.

Rich with detail and very neatly put together. Good job Mr Silva
  • Recent History or Just Fiction

    By Lakewaco
A fictitious tale that has a storyline that sounds so familiar to actual events of a recent past. Presents scenes that also provide a history and geography lesson. Also interesting Eastern politics.

I loved this book! Wow! I am always so impressed with the amazing knowledge of this author! I love the characters who I’ve grown to know through the years. This book in particular helped me process and understand the history and culture of the Middle East. A brilliant artist can also be a spy and great humanitarian at the same time, at least in a book of fiction. Can’t wait for the next thriller, hopefully with Christopher and Sarah too! Wish democratic values and freedom would magically appear in the Middle East, but sadly it’s just probably a hope and dream of fiction.
  • Disappointed, to say the least . .

Not one of my best books by Silva . . loaded with politics, political views, and a Euroasia political game. Regret spending the money on this book.
